Project: Garage Plaster, Drywall Repair and Painting
Happy to have gotten through a challenging project in our 85-year-old attached garage: repairing long-neglected plaster and drywall on the walls and ceiling. Host of common issues in old houses, like pipes and wires in seemingly random locations. Alex's teams worked around the schedules of our other contractors (for example, electrician needed the ceiling repaired first, but didn't want the drywall repaired yet), and, in the end, also added a fresh coat of paint on the same day as the final repairs. Glad to have someone that could speak to all the various repairs at once.

Not only did Empire Pro do beautiful work — they were able to finish the job in less time than estimated. I’ve had similar work done in another house, and Empire does far better work far more efficiently. Alex, Edwin, and their team are also lovely people. Working with Empire Pro was a terrific experience from start to finish. Alex came to our house, provided a straightforward estimate, and followed up with a formal cost breakdown in writing. He was incredibly responsive and quick to get us scheduled (and rescheduled when we needed to postpone by two weeks). He and his crew showed up on time, took great care in ensuring all our items were covered/protected, and worked really efficiently. We are thrilled with the results. This was the second time we used Empire Pro and we can’t recommend them enough. They were even able to fix the ceiling in a room where the previous owner did a poor job. The results were awesome. We are already putting together a list of the other things we want Empire to work on. Hire them now - you won’t regret it.
